Lisa E. West (RN, LMBT #192) is Nationally Certified and a Virginia and North Carolina licensed Registered Nurse and massage and bodywork therapist. Lisa is a graduate of the Piedmont Community College Nursing Program and the Professional Program in Comprehensive Massage Therapy for a Medical and Clinical Setting at the Virginia School of Massage. Lisa's nursing experience at Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia, combined with her massage experience since her graduation has heightened her sensitivity to patient / client care. Her assessment skills and her intuitive touch instill confidence in the most skeptical or anxious of clients. She joined Even Keel Massage Therapy in May, 2005. She purchased the practice in January, 2008 and looks forward to continued growth of the staff, clients and our relationships within the healthcare community. Lisa specializes in Myofascial Release Therapy. She and her two daughters reside in Nags Head.
Jody Abt (LMBT) is Nationally Certified and a Virginia and North Carolina licensed massage and bodywork therapist. Jody graduated from the Virginia School of Massage After graduation, Jody became an instructor at the school. Having vacationed in the Outer Banks as well as having family here, Jody responded to our job posting and she and her family decided to move here. She joined Lisa on Monday, July 14th. She works from 8:00 am until 2:00 PM, Mondays through Fridays. Jody is a Professional Member of the American Massage Therapy Association. She and her husband are avid Civil War Re-enactors and go to events all throughout the Southeast. Jody and her family divide their time between Charlottesville and Manteo. |
